Using our meeting agenda template, you can plan and organize your meetings.

An agenda is a list of meeting activities in the order they are to be taken up, beginning with the call to order and ending with adjournment. It usually includes one or more specific items of business, but is not required to include specific times for some activities. (“Agenda (Meeting) - Wikipedia”)

With this meeting agenda template, you can get your meetings off to a good start. All in one spot, keep meetings focused and productive, collect action items, and manage “offline” work. Begin a project today by using our meeting agenda sample template.

Use this sample meeting agenda template and adapting tips to create your next meeting agenda:

  • Make a list of your potential conversation topics and talking points. Make a task (or tasks) to record what you discuss in your meeting. To discuss and share, you may create new tasks inside your meeting agenda project or add existing tasks from other projects. In any case, make sure to provide specifics in the description so that everyone arrives at the meeting prepared.
  • Attendees should be given talking points. Even if you are the meeting’s leader, you may wish to have others discuss some topics. Determine who will be speaking about what, and notify them in your meeting agenda project if they need to prepare ahead of time.
Include the meeting objective. Set and clearly communicate your meeting objectives to get your meeting attendees in the correct state of mind. What do you want to talk about? What outcomes do you expect from that discussion? Why is this particular set of individuals here?
  • Share it with attendees ahead of time. Share your schedule with participants ahead of time so they know what you intend to cover, and once the meeting begins, you can all dig straight into resources.
